Who it's forFor esthetics & skincare

Booking software for skincare studios

A treatment room needs turning over, a course of treatments needs remembering, and some appointments shouldn't be bookable by a stranger at midnight.

Turnaround, accounted for

Buffer after each treatment, held off the book without being sold to the client.

Notes per visit

What you used, what reacted, what to do differently — on the record, not in a folder.

Not everything is self-bookable

Keep consultations and first-time treatments off the page.

The ten minutes between clients

Stripping the bed, wiping down, restocking — real time that isn't part of anyone's treatment. Set it as buffer and it's held off the book without appearing on the client's appointment as time they're paying for.

Where a treatment has a genuine waiting stage — a mask, a peel developing — the work/processing/work split describes it, so the timing on the page matches the timing in the room.

  • Buffer after each service, per service
  • Processing stages timed separately where they're real
  • Salon hours and each therapist's own availability, both respected

Who gets to book what

A first-time treatment you'd rather assess in person doesn't belong on a booking page. Mark that service as not bookable online — it stays on your menu, stays in your admin, and simply isn't offered to a stranger.

For everything else, your policy can be shown at booking or required with a tick before it goes through. What the client agreed to, and when, is stored against the version of the wording they actually read.

  • Call-only services, live but unbookable online
  • Or review every booking as a request
  • Policy agreement recorded against its version

Across a course of treatments

The whole history

Every appointment they've had with you, on one card, without digging.

Notes that carry forward

Products, reactions, sensitivities — written once, read at the start of the next visit.

Aftercare in writing

Sent into their thread, where it stays findable rather than being said once at the door.

Questions

Does Inchair have intake or consent forms?
Not as a forms builder. What exists is your cancellation policy, which can be required with a tick at booking and whose agreement is recorded, plus notes on the client record. A full intake form isn't something Inchair does today.
Can I stop new clients booking certain treatments?
Yes. Mark the service as not bookable online and it stays off the booking page entirely, or put the studio into review mode so every booking is a request you accept.
Can I book room turnaround time between clients?
Yes, as buffer time after a service. It's held off the book without being added to the client's appointment length.
Can I track a client's course of treatments?
Their full appointment history is on their client card, along with your notes. There's no packages or prepaid-course feature that decrements a balance.
