Getting help

What to send us so the first reply is the useful one.

Updated 16 August 2026·2 min read

Email hello@inchair.app. A person reads it.

Include these four things

  1. Your salon name, so we can find your account without a round trip.
  2. What you were trying to do — the actual goal, not just the screen you were on.
  3. What happened instead, in the words the screen used if there was an error.
  4. When it happened, roughly. Time of day is enough.

A screenshot beats a description of a screenshot. If it involves one client or one appointment, name it — it's much faster than us guessing which.

Things we can't do from here

Worth knowing before you write, because these come up most:

  • Lift a text opt-out. A client who replied STOP has to opt back in themselves — this one is genuinely impossible from our side.
  • Respond to a card dispute for you. Disputes are handled in your Stripe dashboard, and the deadline is Stripe's.
  • Change your payout schedule. That's yours to set in Stripe.

If you're mid-service

If a payment won't go through with a client in front of you, take it another way and fix the record afterwards — cash or a terminal both log against the ticket. Don't keep a client waiting on a support reply.
